Wallace âWallyâ Thomas Flick, 83 years young, of French Lick, Indiana entered peacefully into eternal rest on December 31st, 2016 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana.
He was born in West Baden Springs, Indiana on November 4th, 1933 to Gardner and Blanche Elizabeth (Grigsby) Flick.
Wally married Sandra Jean Wahl in 1953 and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and (1) Brother â Virgil Flick.
Wally was a 1952 graduate of the West Baden Springs High School. He worked for the Springs Valley Shoe Corporation, the former Shoe Factory, as an edge trimmer and supervisor of the bottoming department for 44 years until his retirement in 1996.
He was an avid fisherman and spent most of his spare time âwetting a lineâ after retirement. Wally loved animals and cared for many dogs over the years. He also had a passion for growing tomatoes every summer and shared them with friends and family.

(5) Grandchildren James Wallace Evans, Adam Yarbrough, Samantha Hayes, Hope Gann and Jonathan Hayes
(3) Great-Grandchildren Carrie Evans, Tristan England and Skylar Gann
Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE CEREMONY
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted by Ronald Yarbrough at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017 at the T.L. Pinnick Chapel.
