Waunita Lysinger

Waunita Lysinger, 94, of Hillham, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on May 13th, 2025 at her residence.

She was born on Emmons Ridge, near Hillham, Indiana on November 2nd, 1930 to John W. and Ada B. (Mayo) Lewis.

Waunita married Carl Ronald Lysinger on September 12th, 1948 and they were blessed with over 52 years together, until his death on August 11th, 2001.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; Daughter – Theresa Ellen Roach; Brothers – Harry and Howard Lewis; Sisters – Clara Emmons, Ethel Moore, Mellie Fern Lewis and Ruth Buchanan.

Waunita lived a quiet life on Emmons Ridge, but one that has left impressions of love and faith in God upon several generations of family and friends.

She is survived by:

Son – Ronald Craig Lysinger (Bethy) of Lafayette, Indiana

Daughter – Kathy Jean Lagenour of Hillham, Indiana

Son-in-law – Randy Roach of Hillham, Indiana

Grandchildren – Lisa Chaplin (Billy), Chris Lagenour (Jaime), Amber Tatman, Nathan Lagenour, Stephen Roach (Kendra)

Numerous Great-Grandchildren covering three generations

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Kevin Naillieux and Kenion Coleman on Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Emmons Ridge Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, May 17th, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emmons Ridge Cemetery, c/o Kathy Kalb 2494 Hillham Road, French Lick, Indiana 47432.
