William Brandon Hughes, West Baden Springs, IN. Passed away August 5, 2024.
He lived to be 40 years old, passing away just two days before his 41st birthday. At the time of his death, he was on a cruise ship with friends in the Gulf of Mexico, living his best life.
Brandon was born on August 7th, 1983 in Anderson Indiana to William Alvin and Lisa Jo Hughes. He graduated from Highland High School in 2001 and earned his degrees up to his Master’s degree through the University of Phoenix. He served in the United States Army from 2005-2011 until he was honorably discharged. Brandon was most recently employed by Blue Origin where he was Sr. Manager for Facilities and Reliability.
Brandon met his wife, Terra Fleitz-Hughes in 2007 and they were married in 2010.
He is survived by his father William Alvin Hughes, His wife Terra Hughes, sons Bracken and Ashton Hughes and daughter Alyssa Hughes, as well as step-sons Jason and Jordan Leeper and his beloved French Bulldog Willie. Brandon was preceded in death by his mother Lisa Jo Hughes.
Brandon has had many hobbies throughout his life and excelled in all of them. In bowling he was awarded multiple 300 rings, fishing where he competed well in many FLW tournaments, scuba-diving where he earned up to his Dive Master’s certification, and billiards where he competed in Vegas.
Brandons memorial will be held on Saturday, August 31st at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, 9640 West State Rd. 56 French Lick, IN. Visitation will begin at 11:00am and the service will take over at 12:00pm. Following the memorial, there will be a Celebration of Life in honor of William at Legendz Sports Bar & Grill, 8695 W Jack Carnes Way. French Lick IN. from 1:00-5:00pm.
