He was born in Elkhart, Indiana on January 1, 1938 to Howard Westlake and Clara (Ritchie) Westlake.
William married Janis Weimer Sheffield and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, (3) Brothers â Howard âBuckâ, Harvey and Tom Westlake and (2) Sisters â Juanita Myrick and Joy Mapes.
William was a member of âThe Churchâ at Powell Valley.
He retired from CTS Corporation in Elkhart.
William is survived by:

A funeral ceremony will be conducted by Pastor Randy Stevens at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at âThe Churchâ at Powell Valley in Shoals, Indiana.
Friends and family may call from 10:00a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at âThe Churchâ at Powell Valley.
