Wilma Ann Denny Allen, 76 of French Lick, Indiana passed away on June 30th, 2026.

She was born in Prospect, Indiana on January 31st, 1950 to Delaine Woodrow and Edith Grace (Flick) Denny.

Wilma married James H. Allen on December 4th, 1967 and he survives.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and Brother – Lonnie Denny.

Wilma was a 1968 graduate of Springs Valley High School. Throughout her life she worked in various lines of work at the following: Dust “N” Stuff, Days Inn, SerVend International, Midwest Veneer, RDK Machine Shop and Allen’s Lawn Service.

She loved reading, working crossword puzzles, discovering new recipes, taking walks, and going on long rides. Wilma was passionate about photography and capturing life’s cherished moments. Her three grandchildren were the highlight of her life and brought her profound joy. Most importantly, she leaves behind a beautiful legacy of faith and love for Christ. An unwavering prayer warrior with a servant’s heart, she was always willing to help and support others.

Wilma is survived by:

Husband of 58 years – James H. Allen

Sons – James E. Allen and Billy Allen (Ashley)

Daughter – Amy Valimont (Ray)

Sister – Mary Jane Nelson

Grandchildren – Waylon, Sawyer and Ellie Allen

FUNERAL CEREMONY

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor John Moffatt on Friday, July 3rd, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial in Mount Lebanon Cemetery.

VISITATION

Visitation for friends and family will be Friday, July 3rd, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mount Lebanon Cemetery, c/o Shane Buffington 7735 W. County Pike, West Baden Springs, IN 47469.
