Gladys Prow

Gladys Prow, age 89, of French Lick, Indiana passed away on September 14th, 2018 at Springs Valley Meadows.

She was born on March 26th, 1929 in Orange County, Indiana to Ralph and Maggie (McFarland) Brown.

Gladys married Roy Prow on June 26th, 1953 and he preceded her in death on July 4th, 1975.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and (1) Daughter – Debbie Prow.

Gladys graduated from French Lick High School with the Class of 1947. 

She was a member of the West Baden Springs First Baptist Church. Gladys enjoyed sewing, embroidery and most all others crafts. She deeply loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Gladys had worked at Allbright’s Grocery in Prospect, the Star Store, and at Medco Health and Rehabilitation Center in the Physical Therapy department as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She and her husband also owned and operated Gladys and Roy’s Grocery Store.

She is survived by:

(12) Great-Grandchildren

Cremation was chosen and a private committal service will be held at a later date at the Mount Lebanon Cemetery.
