Janet Kay Tibbs, age 86, of French Lick, Indiana, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on June 1st, 1934 in Columbus, Indiana to Clarence E. Huff, Sr. and Hazel M. “Dunham” Huff.
Janet married Charles E. Tibbs on June 20th, 1959 and he preceded her in death on June 1st, 1995.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; (1) Step-son – Charlie Tibbs; and (3) Brothers – Edward, Clarence and Donald Huff.
Janet was a member of Red Quarry Christian Church, Phi Beta Psi, Valley Stitchers Home Ec Club, GFWC – West Baden Research Club and West Baden Historical Society.
She was a homemaker and had volunteered for Indiana Landmarks for many years at the West Baden Springs Hotel, where she led tours, worked in the gift shop and portrayed historic character “Molly Brown” for the Twilight Tours.
Janet enjoyed sewing, talking to people and spending time with her family.
She is survived by:

Robert Land West Baden Springs, Indiana
Kelsey Mae Land French Lick, Indiana
Several Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren also survive.
A Graveside Ceremony will be conducted by Brother Joe Crow on Monday, July 20th at 2:00 p.m. at Ames Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday, July 20th, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow in Ames Chapel Cemetery.
